Brentino's courtyards light up

At the beginning of July, the village of Brentino, in the municipality of Brentino Belluno (province of Verona), transforms into a journey of taste and fun with Corteggiando in Valdadige. Seven different courtyards scattered throughout the village host food stands, while the ancient washhouses serve as a backdrop for concerts and shows. It's one of those village festivals where the community's identity is felt in every corner.

The taste of Valdadige

The star of the table is Valdadige trout with black truffle from Monte Baldo, a specialty that tells the story of the water and mountain territory where the village is nestled. Accompanying it are wines from local wineries. The Veronese Valdadige is indeed a land of terraced vineyards and niche products, and Corteggiando is an authentic showcase of it.

Palio della Botte and Vespa gathering

Among the most cherished events are the Palio della Botte, a traditional challenge that counts towards the national Città del Vino circuit, and the Vespa gathering organized with the Vespa Club Caprino Veronese. Completing the program are circus shows, DJ sets, concerts, an educational farm with animals for the little ones, and exhibitions of drawings by schoolchildren.

A festival for the whole community

Behind Corteggiando is the Comitato Valdadige (Valdadige Committee), supported by the Municipality and numerous local associations: from the community of San Giacomo di Rivalta to the Red Cross, from the Alpine Club to the decorating volunteers. It is this collective involvement that makes the festival an identity-defining event for Brentino Belluno and the entire valley.
