Totem Festival: Music on the hills of Lentella

The Totem Festival is a summer music series held in Lentella, a small town in the province of Chieti, nestled in the heart of the Frentani Mountains in Abruzzo. The event takes place in the picturesque Colli area, on the hills surrounding the village, offering a breathtaking panoramic view of the countryside and the Trigno valley.

A festival born from the local community

The festival is organized by the Pro Loco Lentella Aps in partnership with the Municipality of Lentella. The inaugural edition was held in July 2024, and from the very beginning, the formula established a clear identity: showcasing young local musicians as opening acts, followed by prominent artists from the Italian indie and singer-songwriter scene. It is a project that celebrates both the Abruzzo landscape and emerging creativity.

What to expect

• Live concerts featuring singer-songwriters and bands from the Italian indie and alternative scene;
• a space dedicated to local artists and emerging musicians from the Frentani Mountains;
• DJ sets to close the evening;
• artistic installations, including the totems created by sculptors during the NaturArte editions, which give the event its name;
• food area and ample parking available for the public.

A free, open-air event

Admission to the Totem Festival is free, and the evening takes place entirely outdoors, in close contact with the nature of the Lentella hills. The combination of quality music, scenery, and a convivial atmosphere makes this event a centerpiece of the summer in Lentella, attracting audiences from across the Vasto and Alto Vastese areas.
