The Torre Pali Art-Fest

The Torre Pali Art-Fest is a summer highlight that fills the seaside village of Torre Pali—part of the Municipality of Salve in the province of Lecce, in the heart of the Lower Salento region of Puglia—with entertainment and local crafts. Launched in 2024, the event is promoted by the Salve Municipal Administration and has quickly become one of the most anticipated evenings on the local summer calendar.

Torre Pali, a jewel of the Ionian coast

Torre Pali overlooks the Ionian Sea, along a low, sandy coastline framed by dunes covered in Mediterranean scrub, just a few kilometers from the famous Maldive del Salento in Pescoluse and Santa Maria di Leuca. The small seaside village, with its harbor and the remains of the ancient coastal tower that gives it its name, provides a picturesque setting for an open-air event that unfolds along the Zona Promenade, the town's seafront.

Street performers and live entertainment

The heart of the evening is the street performers: jugglers, entertainers, stilt walkers, and circus artists enliven the streets and the promenade with roving performances that engage spectators of all ages. The atmosphere is typical of Salento summer nights, filled with lights, colors, and the festive participation of both residents and tourists.

Markets, food area, and Salento pizzica

Accompanying the performances are artisan markets, featuring stalls with artistic creations and local products, along with a spacious food & drink area where you can taste local gastronomic specialties. The evening concludes with the unmissable pizzica salentina, the traditional music and dance of Puglia that transforms the marina into a grand folk festival with tambourines and irresistible rhythms.

An event for all ages

The Torre Pali Art-Fest is designed as an event for the whole family: admission is free, and the program alternates between entertainment for children, street performances, and live music. The festival is part of the summer program of the Municipality of Salve, which includes events in Salve, Pescoluse, and Torre Pali, and is largely funded by tourist tax revenues.
