Il Borgo del Gusto transforms the medieval historic village of Campomarino, in the province of Campobasso, into a culinary itinerary for one evening. Through the alleys and ancient streets of the centre, stands curated by local companies offer tastings of Molise wines and gastronomic products, in a route that intertwines food and wine, culture, and discovery of heritage.
Taste, culture, and music
The event is not just about tasting: alongside the tasting stands, there are cultural tours of the village, highlighting the medieval architecture and the history of the Arbëreshë people, and live music accompanying the evening. A formula that allows visitors to experience the ancient village in a festive and convivial atmosphere.
A summer appointment
Organised by the Campomarino Institution for Tourist and Cultural Services Centre, Il Borgo del Gusto is part of the AESTIVA summer programme and has now established itself as one of the most anticipated food and wine events of the season on the Molise coast.
The Village of Taste — edition 2026
In 2026 too, Il Borgo del Gusto is expected in the old village of Campomarino, as part of the AESTIVA programme. The event will once again feature the food and wine route through the medieval alleys, with stands from local companies dedicated to Molise wines and typical products, cultural tours of the village, and live music. The precise date and programme will be announced by the Institution for Tourist and Cultural Services Centre in the weeks prior.
