About Tulip Village

Every spring, in Favria, in the heart of the Canavese area near Turin, a blooming field brings all the magic of the Dutch landscape to Piedmont. The Tulip Village welcomes you with over 250,000 tulips in a thousand varieties and colors: you can stroll through the rows, take memorable photos, and, best of all, pick your own flowers to create a personalized bouquet. A simple and poetic experience designed for families, schools, and nature lovers.

A tulip field in Piedmont

The Tulip Village is one of the most enchanting spring events in the Canavese region, located in Favria, near Turin. Born from the vision of Barbara and Andrea, owners of the Azienda Agricola La Borgheisa, the village transforms the Borgata Chiarabaglia area every year into a vast carpet of colors, featuring thousands of bulbs imported directly from the Netherlands. A little corner of the Low Countries that blooms just a stone's throw from Turin, between late March and early May.

The U-Pick experience

The heart of the Tulip Village is the U-Pick experience: at the entrance, you are provided with all the necessary tools, and you can walk through the rows to choose your favorite tulips. The admission ticket already includes a few flowers to take home, while additional ones can be purchased at a small price. It is an original and fun way to rediscover, as the owners love to say, the beauty in simple things.

More than just flowers

Beyond picking, the village offers numerous activities for all ages:

  • Creative workshops and labs for adults and children
  • Biodiversity trails and insights into the world of bees
  • Educational farm with school workshops dedicated to planting and nature
  • Photo shoots for weddings, birthdays, and professional sessions among the flowers
  • Market featuring handmade crafts and local products
  • Food area with casual dining and artisanal gelato

An event for everyone

The Tulip Village is designed as an inclusive space: the paths are easily accessible for wheelchairs and strollers, parking is free with reserved areas, and dogs are welcome on a leash. The blooming follows nature's rhythm, so closing dates may vary by a few days depending on the season and weather. A highly anticipated event in the Canavese and the province of Turin, perfect for a spring day trip in the open air.

Tulip Village — edition 2026

The second edition of the Tulip Village brought over 250,000 Dutch tulips to Favria, even more numerous than in the inaugural year. From March 28 to May 3, 2026, the field at Azienda Agricola La Borgheisa welcomed visitors for flower picking, workshops, a market, and a food area, in a triumph of colors in the heart of the Canavese.

The 2026 edition of the Tulip Village marked the second opening of the blooming field in Favria, with an offer expanded to over 250,000 tulips of many varieties, colors, and shapes. The winning formula of U-Pick was confirmed, enriched by new activities for families and schools.

The blooming, linked to seasonal trends, concluded at the beginning of May. Azienda Agricola La Borgheisa looks forward to seeing visitors again next spring.
