When summer arrives, the historic center of Massa Lombarda, in the Province of Ravenna, comes alive for Le vie del gioco: an evening entirely dedicated to widespread play, which takes over Piazza Matteotti and the surrounding streets. It's a simple and genuine opportunity to gather outdoors, rediscover the games of the past, and let children and young people have fun in the city's spaces, away from screens.

What to Expect

The event is designed as a playful journey winding through the streets of the center: game stations, animation activities, and proposals suitable for different ages are distributed in various corners of the town, so families can move around and try a bit of everything. It's an informal and participatory format, where the protagonist is shared play, the kind that brings together adults and children in the same space.

Part of "E...state a Massa"

Le vie del gioco is one of the events in the rich summer program "E...state a Massa", the series of events promoted by the Municipality of Massa Lombarda together with local cultural, sports, and volunteer associations. From the end of June to September, the calendar offers concerts, festivals, markets, open-air cinema, cultural meetings, events dedicated to children, and moments dedicated to popular traditions, animating the squares and public spaces of Massa Lombarda throughout the beautiful season.

More than just an event, Le vie del gioco is a way to experience the town: an evening when the historic center becomes a meeting place again, where generations mingle and play becomes an excuse to be together. A small, great ritual of the Romagnolo summer, accessible to everyone.
