La 5 Miglia del Ghiottone is a gastronomic walk organized by Pro Loco Tremosine, in the municipality of Tremosine sul Garda, in the province of Brescia. The idea is simple and winning: to walk an itinerary in nature on the plateau, with delicious stops dedicated to the typical products of the area. A way to discover the flavors of tradition and, at the same time, the spectacular landscapes of this natural balcony overlooking Lake Garda.
A Route Through Nature and Flavors
The route winds through woods, meadows, and mountain paths, starting from the hamlet of Vesio, in Località Pertica. Along the way, the food and wine stops offer local specialties: cheeses, cured meats, polenta, and traditional dishes, accompanied by local wines. It is an experience designed for those who love combining outdoor activity with good food, in a relaxed and convivial atmosphere.
A Limited Number Event
The event has limited participation, with a maximum number of registered participants, and takes place even in case of rain. It is open to families and walkers, while the route, which crosses mountain sections, is not recommended for those with strollers. Dogs are allowed on a leash and with a muzzle. An event that enhances the slow and tasty dimension of tourism in Tremosine.

La 5 Miglia del Ghiottone 2026 returns to Tremosine sul Garda (Brescia) on June 2nd, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Organized by Pro Loco Tremosine, the gastronomic walk leads participants along a route through woods, meadows, and mountain paths, with stops dedicated to the typical products of the area.
Coupon collection and departures are scheduled from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM in Vesio, Località Pertica. The event is limited in number (maximum 600 participants) and takes place even in case of rain.
