A journey through the Laga woods, stop by stop

Chalet Divini is the food and wine festival that transforms Nerito, the main village of the Crognaleto municipality, into a culinary trail immersed in nature every September. Situated at over 1,000 meters above sea level on the slopes of the Monti della Laga, within the Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga National Park (Teramo province, Abruzzo), the village welcomes visitors for a 3-kilometer walk through the woods, punctuated by stops at chalets set up along the route.

Wine, local products, and FISAR sommeliers

The heart of the event lies in the tastings: sommeliers from FISAR Teramo (Italian Federation of Sommeliers, Hoteliers, and Restaurateurs) guide guests through a selection of Abruzzo wines, paired with local dishes and products. The itinerant route allows participants to alternate between tasting moments and the pleasure of a walk, set against the backdrop of the Laga ridges and the springs of the Vomano river.

Music, poetry, and community

Beyond the culinary aspect, Chalet Divini is a community celebration: the day is enlivened by live music, folk performances, and a DJ set that closes the event, while dedicated areas provide entertainment for children. There is no shortage of scenic readings and poetic moments, which weave local culture into the walk through the woods. The 2025 edition featured the readings "Due passi con Dorotea - Parole in cammino," a testament to an event that unites gastronomy, nature, and culture.

An inclusive and growing event

Born in 2024 as "Chalet di Vino," the event is organized by the Comitato Festa Nerito in collaboration with FISAR Teramo, with a clearly inclusive vocation. In just a few years, it has established itself as a benchmark for promoting the mountain territory of the Crognaleto municipality, attracting audiences from across the Teramo province and beyond. It is an authentic way to discover the Abruzzo hinterland, its wines, and its hospitality while walking through the Laga woods.
