Forty Years on Stage

Inaugurated in 1985, Teatro alle Vigne has been the beating heart of Lodi's theatrical life for forty years. The 2025-2026 season celebrates this anniversary with a broad and curated programme, under the artistic direction of Mauro Simone. From drama to music, from ballet to comedy, and shows for the little ones, the theatre at Via Cavour 66 offers months of events spanning autumn and spring.

Drama: Big Names and Classics

The drama programme blends classics and contemporary works. It ranges from "The Taming of the Shrew" with Amanda Sandrelli (January 7) to "I Married You for Fun" (February 28), from "A Doll's House - Part 2" (March 4) to "L'Empireo" (March 21), and the Shakespearean "Romeo and Juliet" (March 27). Among the most anticipated events is "Quando un musicista ride" with Elio (April 18), which was a sell-out.

Music, Dance, and the Little Ones

Alongside drama, there is a rich music section: from the jazz concert "Garra's Book" (January 10) to "La Fantasia nella musica" for piano and violin (February 7), from "Maramao" with historical songs (March 14) to "270 volte Mozart" (April 15). Ballet and comedy are also featured, as well as the "Le Piccole Vigne" series dedicated to children and families, with shows for different age groups.

A Cultural Hub for the City

With this fortieth-anniversary season, Teatro alle Vigne confirms its role as a cultural hub for Lodi and the entire province. A programme capable of speaking to diverse audiences, from the youngest to drama enthusiasts, keeping alive a theatrical tradition that has been uninterrupted since 1985.
