For some years, the event has been expanding its reach beyond the Lombard capital, also reaching the city of Lodi and other provinces in the region, with a program of satellite events that intertwine literature, art, cinema, philosophy, and music.

BookCity's presence in Lodi is the result of collaboration between the Municipality and the BookCity Milano organization, which involves an increasing number of Lombard cities and provinces each year. For the Lodi region, it is a precious opportunity to participate in a major cultural event of national significance, experiencing the book festival in their own city.
BookCity Lodi — edition 2026
In 2026, Lodi will be among the Lombard cities involved in BookCity events, coinciding with the fifteenth edition of BookCity Milano, scheduled from November 23 to 29, 2026, on the theme "Il senno sulla Luna" (Wisdom on the Moon), inspired by Ludovico Ariosto's Orlando Furioso. The edition, curated by writer Marco Balzano, extends the festival beyond the capital to the provinces of Como, Cremona, Lodi, Monza, Pavia, Sondrio, and Varese. The Lodi events will be spread across various city locations, featuring literature, art, cinema, philosophy, and music. The detailed program will be presented at a press conference scheduled for October 2026.
