SuperSonico

A Showcase Dedicated to the Cross-Pollination of Languages

SuperSonico is a new showcase launched in 2026 in Santarcangelo di Romagna, in the province of Rimini (Emilia-Romagna), presented by C'Entro - Supercinema Santarcangelo and Fo.Cu.S - Fondazione Culture Santarcangelo, with the support of the Emilia-Romagna Region. The project stems from the desire to bring experiences to the Supercinema stage that are difficult to define with a single label, where music meets poetry and visual art.

The showcase unfolds across two symbolic cultural venues in Santarcangelo: the Supercinema, a historic hall in the town center, and the MEET, the courtyard of the Ethnographic Museum. Each evening is designed as a moment of research and listening, where concerts, performances, and live soundscapes merge into a single experience.

The 2026 Program

The first edition runs from January to May 2026 with six events:

• January 25 - Inaugural evening with Chiara Raggi (vocals and guitar) and Annalisa Teodorani (vocals and poetry readings), accompanied by Gianluca Morelli and Enrico Giannini, for the presentation of Zénta, a project that intertwines music and poetry, notes and dialect; during the concert, live painting by Massimo Modula.
• February 19 - Meeting between Rachele Bastreghi (Baustelle) and Francesco Pellegrini (The Zen Circus), in dialogue between music and words.
• March 6 - American singer-songwriter Micah P. Hinson, with Alessandro Asso Stefana and Paolo Mongardi (The Tomorrow Man Tour).
• April 17 - Live soundscape for the film Vampyr (1932) by Paolo Spaccamonti (guitar and synth) and Ramon Moro (trumpet and flugelhorn).
• April 24 - Emiliano Visconti with La Banda dell'Ortica tells the story of Italy through singer-songwriter music.
• May 22 - Concert by Steven Brown of Tuxedomoon, a historic voice of the international avant-garde scene.

A New Space for Santarcangelo's Music Scene

By inviting artists from the local, national, and international scene to create original evenings, SuperSonico aims to be a laboratory dedicated to research and cross-pollination between languages. The showcase enriches the cultural offerings of the Supercinema, already a benchmark for cinema and live music in Santarcangelo di Romagna, a town in the Valmarecchia famous for its caves, historic center, and vibrant cultural tradition.
