A Village Festival in the Heart of San Polo's Greenery
The Sun Polo Gombia Park Fest is the popular event of San Polo di Torrile, the most populous hamlet of the Municipality of Torrile, in the province of Parma, in the heart of the Bassa Parmense (Emilia-Romagna). The festival takes place in Attilio Gombia Park, on via Bruno Buozzi, a large green area that transforms into a free-entry open-air stage for an entire weekend in May.
Created to give the community of Torrile a moment of gathering in the green, the festival combines the classic elements of an Emilian village festival: live music and evening DJ sets, street food with food trucks operating daily, an artisan and hobbyist market, carousels, and entertainment for children. A contemporary touch is added with Il Giardino del Benessere (The Wellness Garden), an area dedicated to yoga, holistic disciplines, and body activities.
Three Days of Music, Flavors, and Well-being
The program unfolds over three days. Friday opens with the official inauguration and evening live music; Saturday is dedicated to families and children in the afternoon, with wooden game villages and entertainment, before coming alive in the evening with a DJ set and disco night; Sunday, the only day open from the morning, combines workshops, outdoor wellness activities, the street market, and traditional Southern Italian music to close the weekend.
A Young and Growing Event
Promoted by the Municipality of Torrile together with the cultural association ViaKing and with the support of local entities, the festival is a young event: after its first edition in 2025, it has quickly established itself as one of the most cherished events of the Torrile spring. A free event, designed for all ages, that enhances Gombia Park as a space for social interaction for the San Polo hamlet and the entire Bassa Parmense region.
Gombia Park Fest — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of the Sun Polo Gombia Park Fest confirmed its three-day format in Attilio Gombia Park, with opening hours on Friday and Saturday from 6:00 PM to 12:00 AM and on Sunday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 AM. The event, promoted by the Municipality of Torrile and the ViaKing association, combined music, flavors, well-being, and entertainment for families, confirming the growth of a young but already highly anticipated event in the Bassa Parmense region.

Friday, May 22
- 6:00 PM — Official inauguration and ribbon cutting; park and food trucks open
- 7:00 PM — Poetry reading flash mob with Moreno Burattini, organized by the association "Il colore delle parole"; street food opens
- 9:00 PM — Live music with BandaLiga and Max Cottafavi, a tribute to Ligabue
Saturday, May 23
- 3:00 PM — Afternoon dedicated to families and children: vintage wooden game village and entertainment by CaiMercati, exhibitor stalls, and artisan market
- Street Market and The Wellness Garden (holistic area) open
- 9:00 PM — Disco night with Jumbo Story and Afro/Funky selection
Sunday, May 24
- 10:00 AM — Morning opening with wooden game village and artisan stalls; yoga sessions
- 11:00 AM — Martial arts demonstrations
- 12:00 PM — Street food opens
- Afternoon — Yogalates with silent headphones, modern pastry and bread-making workshop, Street Market, and The Wellness Garden
- Evening — Sirah Live with tambourines, tarantella, and Southern Italian music to close the festival
Additional entertainment throughout the days: performances by Giuseppe Negrotti (Giuppyart), fashion show of ethnic clothing by Nadia Eve Amani, majorettes, and Samardanza. Food trucks, carousels, and children's entertainment available all three days.

How to Get There
San Polo di Torrile is located along the provincial road between Parma and Colorno, about 12 km north of Parma. By car from the A1 motorway, exit at Parma and continue towards Colorno/Torrile. The nearest train station is Parma.
Admission and Hours
Free admission. The park is open on Fridays and Saturdays from 6:00 PM to 12:00 AM, and on Sundays from 10:00 AM to 12:00 AM.
