Summer evenings in the square of Spormaggiore, in the heart of the Paganella Plateau
Summer Nights is the most anticipated summer festival in Spormaggiore, a small town in Trentino overlooking the Brenta Dolomites and nestled on the Paganella Plateau. Organized by the Pro Loco Spormaggiore APS, the event transforms the Piazza della Chiesa into an open-air living room where, on summer evenings, live music, entertainment, craft markets, and moments of conviviality open to everyone take place.
Born from the commitment of the Pro Loco volunteers, Summer Nights has become a consolidated event in the village's summer calendar over the years, capable of achieving great success and growing participation from outside the town. The evenings are designed for families, vacationers, and residents: an opportunity to experience the historic center of the village, meet up, and rediscover local traditions in a relaxed and festive atmosphere.
The program alternates musical entertainment, shows, food stalls, and activities for children. The offerings include typical local products and the flavors of Trentino cuisine, served at stands set up for the occasion. The open-air, free, and informal format is the strength of the festival.
Spormaggiore is also known for its Wildlife Park, dedicated to alpine fauna, and for Castel Belfort, a testament to local history. Immersed in the greenery between the Piana Rotaliana and the Brenta group, the village offers a rich calendar of initiatives curated by the Pro Loco in summer, of which Summer Nights is one of the iconic events, along with the "Ors an Festa" festival and the dialect theater reviews.
The 25th Spormaggiore summer returns with Summer Nights 2026: the first evening is scheduled for Wednesday, July 8, 2026, in Piazza della Chiesa in Spormaggiore. The festival, organized by the Pro Loco Spormaggiore APS, once again offers open-air evenings with music, entertainment, markets, and food stands in the heart of the Trentino village.
The complete program of the summer evenings is communicated by the Pro Loco via flyers and official channels. Admission is free.
Spormaggiore can be reached by car from the SS43 of the Val di Non, exiting towards the Paganella Plateau; it is about 30 minutes from Trento. By train, reach the Mezzocorona/Mezzolombardo station and continue by bus.
The evenings take place in Piazza della Chiesa and admission is free.
