Two days of street food, music, and fun in Piazza Municipio
The Street Food Festival is one of the most anticipated spring events in Paruzzaro, a small town in the Province of Novara, Piedmont, just a few kilometers from Arona and the shores of Lake Maggiore. For two days, the central Piazza Municipio turns into a large open-air gastronomic village, where food trucks from all over Italy serve the best of street cuisine in a festive and convivial atmosphere.
The heart of the event is the selection of kitchens on wheels: gourmet burgers, fried delicacies, regional specialties, stuffed sandwiches, desserts, and offerings from every corner of the peninsula and beyond. Each truck becomes an open kitchen where guests can choose their favorite dish and enjoy it outdoors at the tables set up in the square. It is the perfect opportunity to discover diverse recipes in one place, pairing your meal with craft beers and refreshing drinks.
The Street Food Festival is about more than just food: Pro Paruzzaro enriches the weekend with a calendar of side events designed for all ages. From sports demonstrations to entertainment and evening DJ sets, the square comes alive until late with music and social vibes. Recent editions have featured late-afternoon sports displays and evenings animated by DJ Blue, confirming a winning formula that blends great food with pure fun.
Promoted by Pro Paruzzaro APS in close collaboration with the municipal administration, the Street Food Festival is above all a meeting point for the town and visitors from neighboring areas. Admission is free, as is parking in the immediate vicinity, and the compact layout of Paruzzaro's center makes the event easily accessible and family-friendly.
A weekend dedicated to taste and conviviality that highlights the center of Paruzzaro and reaffirms the Pro Loco's role in hosting events that attract visitors from across the Vergante and lower Verbano region.
The 2026 Street Food Festival brought Piazza Municipio in Paruzzaro to life on Saturday, May 23, and Sunday, May 24, featuring Italy's top food trucks and a packed schedule of events for all ages.
