The Azzurri's pre-season training camp in Val di Sole, Trentino
For over a decade, SSC Napoli has chosen Dimaro Folgarida, in Val di Sole, for its summer pre-season training camp. Located in the municipality of Dimaro Folgarida, in the province of Trento (Trentino-Alto Adige), the town transforms every July into a major meeting point for the club and the thousands of fans who travel to the mountains to follow the team closely at the foot of the Brenta Dolomites.
The relationship between Napoli and Dimaro Folgarida is now historic: the Trentino resort holds the record among Serie A clubs for the longest-running pre-season training camp venue. Year after year, the collaboration between the Neapolitan club and the Val di Sole Tourist Board has turned this event into a national attraction, bringing the enthusiasm of an entire sporting community to the mountains.
The heart of the camp consists of training sessions, usually held twice daily at the Dimaro Municipal Stadium and the SKI.IT Arena, often open to the public. The schedule also includes at least two friendly matches against Serie B and Serie C teams, providing an opportunity to see new signings and young prospects in action.
Beyond the pitch, the training camp is animated by a rich supporting program:
The Napoli training camp has become one of the most iconic summer events in Val di Sole, combining football passion with the discovery of one of the most beautiful regions in Trentino. For the municipality of Dimaro Folgarida, it represents an extraordinary tourist showcase during a time of year when the Trentino mountains offer hiking, nature, and high-quality hospitality.
From July 17 to 27, 2026, Napoli returns to Dimaro Folgarida for its fifteenth consecutive training camp in Val di Sole, during the club's centenary year. It is the first camp under the guidance of Massimiliano Allegri, tasked with building on the legacy of the Scudetto won the previous season.
The team trains daily, usually at 10:00 AM and 5:30 PM, at the Dimaro Municipal Stadium. Two friendly matches are scheduled at the SKI.IT Arena: Napoli vs. Arezzo on Wednesday, July 22 (6:00 PM) and Napoli vs. Carrarese on Sunday, July 26 (6:00 PM).
A major highlight is the Centenary Village, featuring an official store, dining area, and a multimedia museum showcasing trophies, memorabilia, and photographs from Napoli's 100-year history. Piazza Madonna della Pace will host evening events with the team, shows, and film screenings, including the 2026 World Cup final on July 19.
Dimaro Folgarida can be reached by car via the SS42 del Tonale road (Val di Sole exit); by train via the Trento-Malè-Marilleva railway (Dimaro stop); and by plane from the airports of Verona, Bergamo, and Milan.
Morning training sessions are generally open to the public. For friendly matches and facility access, information and tickets are published on the official training camp website and SSC Napoli channels. Contact: Dimaro Information Office, tel. +39 0463 986113.
