Four Sundays of walking and wellness in the hills of the Turin Monferrato
Spring on the Move is an initiative that brings the spirit of a slow, leisurely spring to the municipality of Brozolo, in the Province of Turin. Under the slogan "Step by step in search of wellness," the Amici dei Sentieri di Brozolo Association offers four Sundays of guided walks along the trails of a still little-known territory, where the landscape of the Metropolitan City of Turin fades into the green hills that mark the start of the Monferrato.
Brozolo is located on the far eastern border of the Turin metropolitan area, in a corner made of scattered settlements, lush valleys, and silent hills. This very landscape frames the walks: routes designed to be tackled calmly, in harmony with the environment, without the rush of a sporting pace. Each walk lasts approximately two hours and is open to people of all ages, including families.
The distinctive feature of the event is the presence of health professionals who accompany participants along the route. In an informal and relaxed atmosphere, they offer advice and personalized consultation, including individual sessions: the idea is to combine outdoor movement with a culture of prevention and self-care. Walking thus becomes a simple act of physical and mental well-being to be shared in good company.
The event consists of four Sunday appointments between March and April. At the end of each route, participants are welcomed with a snack and receive some complimentary gifts to end the day in a convivial way. Participation is very affordable: five euros for a single walk or fifteen euros for the entire cycle of four meetings.
Promoted by the Amici dei Sentieri di Brozolo Association and sponsored by the Metropolitan City of Turin, the initiative is also a way to enhance the local network of trails and introduce a part of Piedmont that is often off the tourist tracks, but rich in scenery, nature, and tranquility.
