About Spring Festival
Welcoming Spring in Val Fontanabuona
The Spring Festival is the first of the events that the Circolo Acli of San Colombano Certenoli, in Val Fontanabuona (Metropolitan City of Genoa), organizes every year to greet the arrival of the beautiful season. A simple and convivial village festival, dedicated to the flavours of Ligurian tradition.
A Taste of Tradition
The food stands offer typical dishes from the Genoese hinterland:
- Cheese Focaccia;
- Hare Sauce;
- Testaieu, the typical pasta fritters cooked between hot griddles;
- Porchetta;
- Fritters and desserts.
Music and Dancing
Live music and liscio dancing accompany the food. The semi-covered structure allows the festival to be enjoyed sheltered, even in case of rain, typical of the Ligurian spring. It is one of the festivals that mark the calendar of the Circolo Acli, along with those of porchetta and asado.
Spring Festival — edition 2026
The 2026 edition takes place on Sunday, March 22, at the Circolo Acli of San Colombano Certenoli. The day offers food stands with traditional dishes and dancing with live music.

Sunday, March 22 — Circolo Acli San Colombano
- 12 PM — Opening of food stands: cheese focaccia, hare sauce, testaieu, porchetta, fritters;
- Live music and dancing with the Giuse&Allessia Band.

How to get there
San Colombano Certenoli can be reached by car from Genoa along the SP225, or from Chiavari and Rapallo heading up towards Val Fontanabuona. The Circolo Acli is signposted in the village.
