The spring market through the streets of the Principality
The Spring Festival of the Principality of Seborga is the traditional event that inaugurates the season of events in the small village in the hinterland of Bordighera, in the province of Imperia. The heart of the day is a spring market spread through the streets of the historic centre, with stalls that liven up the Principality with colours, scents, and products of all kinds.
The organizers describe it as "a special day full of fun for adults and children, with colours, scents, and wonderful stalls". The event, with free admission, is designed for families and visitors who want to spend a few hours strolling among the exhibitors, enjoying the view and the unique atmosphere of Seborga in the meantime.
The festival is also a good excuse to visit one of the most curious villages in Liguria, known for its identity as a Principality. Its narrow streets, small squares, and glimpses of the Riviera dei Fiori form the natural backdrop for a day of market and outdoor socializing.
The 2026 Spring Festival took place on Saturday, May 2nd, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, enlivening the historic centre of Seborga with the usual spring market. Stalls and exhibitors filled the streets of the Principality, on a day designed for the enjoyment of families and visitors.
The event effectively opened the village's spring season, with colours, scents, and the special atmosphere that characterises Seborga.
