In the heart of summer, the Municipality of Broccostella dedicates an entire week to athletics with the Sports Festival, one of the most anticipated events in the "Summer in Broccostella" calendar. From July 7 to 12, 2026, the town's Palasport Area transforms every evening from 7:30 PM into a vibrant sports hub open to all ages. The initiative is organized by the Pro Loco APS of Broccostella, which has long been a key player in promoting local associations and traditions.

Six days of sports and community

The festival offers a week packed with tournaments, demonstrations, and games designed to engage children, youth, and families. The sports hall and local facilities become the go-to spot for summer evenings, where competitive spirit meets social connection and the joy of being together. Simultaneously, from July 7 to 12, the traditional District Football Tournament takes place at the municipal sports field, also starting at 7:30 PM: a challenge between local districts that sparks healthy rivalry and draws in fans and curious onlookers alike.

Broccostella and the Ciociaria region

Broccostella is a small town in the province of Frosinone, in southern Lazio, nestled between the Liri Valley and the hills of the Ciociaria. Crossed by the waters of the Fibreno river, it is known for its connection to nature, the Parish Church of Madonna della Stella, and a lively community life that, especially in summer, fills the squares and sports facilities with events. The Sports Festival is part of this community tradition, offering opportunities for generations to meet.

A widespread summer calendar

The Sports Festival is part of the "Summer in Broccostella 2026" program, which accompanies the town from July to October with numerous initiatives: from the "La Biciclissima" city bike ride to band gatherings, and from district parties to music and entertainment evenings. Sports effectively kick off the summer season, inviting residents and visitors to rediscover the town's outdoor spaces in a festive atmosphere.
