The closing party of the ski season
The Splash Party is the event that marks the end of the winter season in the Ski Civetta area, at Piani di Pezzè above Alleghe, in the province of Belluno. Organized by Alleghe Funivie, it is considered one of the most spectacular and crazy closing events in the entire Dolomites.
The pool challenge
The heart of the party is a 30-meter mega pool filled with icy water, located at the foot of the slope. The challenge is to cross it skiing or snowboarding without sinking: dozens of teams compete with vehicles built for the occasion — cars without wheels, double beds, bathtubs, desks, rockets, and all sorts of sliding vehicles — while about a hundred participants attempt the solo crossing. Over the years, the most creative disguises have been seen.
A day of celebration for everyone
While adults enjoy the show, children play in the snow and the mountain huts offer typical dishes and sandwiches. The day, enlivened by music and DJs, brings together thousands of people on the Civetta slopes, transforming the season's closing into a great collective celebration.
Splash Party — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of the Splash Party was held on Easter Monday at Piani di Pezzè, in an edition themed around the Giro d'Italia, in anticipation of the stage arrival in Alleghe at the end of May. The party featured the usual 30-meter pool and acrobatic crossings on skis and snowboards.

Monday, April 6, 2026 (Easter Monday) — Piani di Pezzè
- 10:30 AM — event opening around the 30-meter pool at the foot of the Civetta slope
- Crossing challenge: teams and individuals attempt to cross the pool skiing or snowboarding aboard custom-built vehicles
- Giro d'Italia themed edition, in view of the stage arrival in Alleghe
- Snow games for children, music, typical dishes, and sandwiches in the mountain huts
