A Historic Festival of Lomellina
The Spiedino Festival is one of the most deeply rooted summer festivals in Lomellina: established in 1977, it takes place in the picturesque village of Torre Beretti, in the municipality of Torre Beretti e Castellaro, in the province of Pavia. For almost half a century, it has been an important moment of social gathering for the town and surrounding municipalities.
The Skewer Takes Center Stage
The signature dish is the grilled skewer, prepared with care and passion according to recipes passed down through generations: it is the absolute star of the food stand, around which the festival evenings revolve, blending cuisine and conviviality.
Organized by the Pro Loco
The event is managed by the Pro Loco of Torre Beretti e Castellaro with the patronage of the Municipality and is held every year in June. A genuine village festival, set amidst the landscape of the Lomellina rice-growing plain.
