Artisan market evenings in the heart of Val Rendena
This edition has not been confirmed by the organiser to date. We recommend checking before going.
In the heart of the Val Rendena, the town of Spiazzo hosts its Artisan Markets every summer, a series of evening markets organized by the Pro Loco Spiazzo. Traditionally held on Wednesday evenings, the event transforms the town center into an open-air showcase of local crafts and flavors in one of the most picturesque valleys of Trentino-Alto Adige, nestled in the shadow of the Brenta Dolomites and the Adamello group.
The stalls are set up along Via San Vigilio, from the Cassa Rurale to Piazza San Vigilio, which becomes the hub of the evenings. The event typically starts at 8:00 PM, when the cool mountain summer air makes strolling among the stalls a pleasure. The selection of exhibitors is carefully curated: here you will find strictly handmade products and local agricultural goods, highlighting the excellence and traditional crafts of the valley.
Every evening is more than just artisan shopping: Piazza San Vigilio hosts entertainment designed for all ages. Past editions have featured concerts and live music, as well as shows and activities for children, making the market a convivial occasion for families and vacationers. On some evenings, the initiative has coincided with special openings of local cultural sites, such as the museum dedicated to the history of the Adamello front.
Located along the road connecting Pinzolo to Tione and Madonna di Campiglio, Spiazzo is an ideal base for those spending their summer holidays in the Brenta Dolomites. The Artisan Markets are part of the summer calendar of the Trentino Pro Loco associations and represent an authentic way to experience the town in the evening hours, discovering typical crafts and zero-kilometer products from the Province of Trento.
The initiative is organized by the Pro Loco Spiazzo APS, the reference point for events in the town of Val Rendena. The exact dates for the summer evenings are announced each year through the channels of the Pro Loco and the tourist boards of the Madonna di Campiglio, Pinzolo, and Val Rendena area.
The 2026 edition of the Spiazzo Artisan Markets does not yet have an official calendar. Based on previous editions, the market evenings organized by Pro Loco Spiazzo are typically held on summer evenings (late July and August), traditionally on Wednesdays from 8:00 PM, along Via San Vigilio up to Piazza San Vigilio. To find out the confirmed dates for 2026, it is recommended to follow the channels of the Pro Loco and the tourist boards of Val Rendena.
Spiazzo is located in Val Rendena, along the SS239 road between Tione di Trento and Pinzolo. By car: take the A22 motorway exit at Trento Sud or San Michele all'Adige, then follow signs for Valli Giudicarie and Val Rendena. The reference railway station is Trento, which is connected by suburban bus lines to the valley.
The evenings are held in summer (between late July and August), traditionally on Wednesdays starting at 8:00 PM, along Via San Vigilio and in Piazza San Vigilio, in the center of Spiazzo.
Access to the markets is free. For updated dates, please contact the Pro Loco Spiazzo (tel. +39 328 4678827).
