Imperia's sky fills with color

Sol&Vento - Spring Energy is the great international kite festival in Imperia, Liguria. Every spring, the beach of Borgo Marina becomes the stage for a unique aerial spectacle, with kite flyers from all over the world flying their creations in the sky of the Riviera dei Fiori.

Kites of all shapes

The heart of the event is the beach, where the sky fills with color thanks to displays of single-line static kites, giant inflatables, stunt kites, and synchronized choreographies accompanied by music. A show that enchants young and old, capable of transforming a windy day into a poetic experience.

Not just kites

Sol&Vento is also about sports and culture: free surfing, SUP, and windsurfing lessons are held on the beach, pony and horse riding experiences, as well as kite-making workshops, exhibition stands, and a Green Area dedicated to renewable energy and sustainable mobility. On Saturday evening, the traditional beach bonfire with music, food, and tournaments concludes the first day of festivities.
