A Latin dance festival by the sea

The Sicily Latin Festival is one of the most popular Latin dance events in Sicily. It takes place in Fontane Bianche, a renowned seaside hamlet of the Municipality of Syracuse, in the province of Syracuse, at the south-eastern tip of Sicily. Salsa, bachata, merengue, and kizomba

For four days, the festival offers an intensive program dedicated to Caribbean dances: Cuban and Puerto Rican salsa, bachata, merengue, and kizomba. The day is divided between workshops with qualified instructors, designed to refine technique and style, and more informal social dance sessions that continue late into the night. The beating heart of the festival is the evening shows, featuring performances by dance groups and companies, and the Latin parties animated by a rotation of specialized DJs. The edition also hosts the Sicily World Competition, a dance contest offering numerous full passes for national and international congresses, attracting dancers from all over Italy and abroad.

Now in its several consecutive editions, the Sicily Latin Festival has established itself as an unmissable stop on the Latin circuit of Southern Italy.
