About Sgrignettata

The Sgrignettata is the spring event that gets Abbadia Lariana moving, on the eastern shore of Lake Como. An event promoted by the Municipality that combines sport, sociality, and discovery of the territory: a walk open to all along the paths and viewpoints of the Larian village, in an informal and family atmosphere. A simple and genuine way to enjoy the outdoors in one of the most beautiful landscapes of the Lecco area.

A day outdoors on Lake Como

In Abbadia Lariana, in the Province of Lecco, the Sgrignettata symbolically opens the beautiful season. Promoted by the Municipality and included among initiatives for health, sport, sociality, and tourism, it is a non-competitive walk designed for everyone: families, Sunday athletes, and the curious who want to discover the area on foot.

Between paths and the lakefront

The village of Abbadia Lariana is an ideal starting point for those who love to move on foot: the famous Sentiero del Viandante (Wanderer's Path) passes here, the ancient route that for centuries ran along the eastern shore of Lake Como, connecting Lecco to Colico and Valtellina. The Sgrignettata takes advantage of this vocation, leading participants through glimpses of the lake, mule tracks, and green corners of the village.

Sport and community

  • Walk open to all, in an informal atmosphere
  • Route between the town center and the surrounding paths
  • Moments of sociality and refreshment along the way

More than a race, the Sgrignettata is a celebration of walking together: an occasion that strengthens the community spirit of Abbadia Lariana and invites you to rediscover, step by step, the beauty of the Larian landscape.
