Walking and Eating in Brianza
The Magnalonga is the food and wine walk that every September brings hundreds of participants to discover Besana in Brianza, in the Province of Monza and Brianza, covering a route of about 13 kilometers on foot. It is not a race, but a convivial walk where the journey is punctuated by gastronomic stops: at each stage, a different course is tasted, in a crescendo that accompanies the walkers from start to finish.
Seven Stops of Taste
The route starts and ends at the park of Villa Filippini and crosses the territory, touching farmhouses, oratories, and picturesque places in the town. Along the way, there are seven stops: from the welcome aperitif to the Brianza appetizers at Cascina Bressanella, from risotto and cannelloni at the Oratorio di Montesiro to the sorbet at Agriturismo Brusignone, from roast pork with polenta at the Oratorio di Calò to cheeses and honey at the Centro Culturale San Clemente in Cazzano, up to the dessert and final coffee in the park of Villa Filippini.
A Pro Loco Celebration
Organized by the Pro Loco of Besana in Brianza, the Magnalonga is much more than a walk: it is a way to enhance the Brianza landscape, its farmhouses, and its gastronomic traditions, in a day that combines light sport, local culture, and conviviality. Registration can be done online or at the Pro Loco headquarters.

The 2026 edition, scheduled for September, will offer the proven formula of the non-competitive food and wine walk. The route of about 13 km starts from Villa Filippini and winds through farmhouses, oratories, and local sites, with seven gastronomic stops from aperitif to final dessert.
