Two days dedicated to gin culture at Parco La Macchia in Sezze
The Sezze Sky Gin Festival is the first event in the province of Latina entirely dedicated to the world of gin. Launched in 2026 by the Sky Gin Association, with the patronage of the Municipality of Sezze, the festival turns Parco La Macchia into a vibrant village celebrating the spirit most loved by contemporary mixology. Spanning over 7,500 square meters of green space, the festival hosts producer stands, a Gin Tonic Bar, a masterclass area, street food, and live music: a unique format for the Pontine territory, designed to combine education, social atmosphere, and the promotion of Italian excellence.
The heart of the experience is the Gin World Tour, an optional tasting journey that takes the public on an international discovery of labels and styles from around the globe. Alongside the tour, the exhibition area brings together ten craft producers from all over Italy: visitors can meet the distillers in person, hear the stories behind their projects, and enjoy free tastings. At the Gin Tonic Bar, professional bartenders prepare cocktails crafted to highlight the unique characteristics of each label.
The festival places great emphasis on education with a program of masterclasses covering distillation techniques, the history of gin—from its origins to the 2000s revolution—and direct accounts from producers, including practical demonstrations on how gin is made. The organizers' stated goal is to promote a culture of responsible drinking, valuing quality and product knowledge over mere consumption.
The two days conclude with musical entertainment: tribute bands, DJ sets, and concerts bring the park to life until late in the evening, while the street food area offers dishes and specialties to accompany the tastings. With free entry and a beautiful green setting, the festival is a perfect outing even for those new to the world of spirits.
The festival is also an opportunity to discover Sezze, an ancient town of Volscian origin perched on the Lepini Mountains, overlooking the Pontine Plain. Located in the province of Latina, in southern Lazio, the town is known for its historic center, the tradition of the Good Friday Sacred Representation, and a lively summer events season. With the Sezze Sky Gin Festival, the Municipality and the Sky Gin Association aim to establish a permanent fixture in the Lazio region's summer calendar, capable of attracting enthusiasts and curious visitors from across the province and beyond.
On Saturday, July 18, and Sunday, July 19, 2026, Parco La Macchia in Sezze hosts the first edition of the Sezze Sky Gin Festival, promoted by the Sky Gin Association with the patronage of the Municipality of Sezze. It is the first event in the province of Latina entirely dedicated to gin culture: over 7,500 square meters of green space host the exhibition area with ten Italian craft producers, the Gin World Tour tasting route, the Gin Tonic Bar, and a calendar of masterclasses on the history and techniques of distillation.
Saturday opens at 6:00 PM with masterclasses dedicated to producer stories, the history of gin, and practical distillation demonstrations, followed by live music from the Rino Gaetano tribute band and evening DJ sets. On Sunday, the village opens at noon and concludes with music featuring the «80's Best Sound» evening and a concert by the Bobbo's Band. Entry is free, and the organizers' goal is to make the festival a permanent fixture of the Pontine summer, centered on responsible drinking.

Parco La Macchia is located in Sezze, in the province of Latina. By car, the town is accessible via the SS156 road of the Lepini Mountains, with connections from Latina and Frosinone; from Rome, take the Pontina or Via Appia. By train, the Sezze Romano station, on the Rome-Naples line via Formia, is just a few kilometers from the town center.
Free entry. Open Saturday from 6:00 PM and Sunday from 12:00 PM. Tastings at the producer stands are free; the Gin World Tour is an optional tasting experience.
The 7,500-square-meter green area is best enjoyed by arriving early. We recommend comfortable clothing and, for those driving, to enjoy the tastings responsibly in line with the festival's philosophy of mindful drinking.
