Sciamn Fest

A festival born from love for the land

Sciamn Fest is one of the most heartfelt musical and cultural initiatives of the summer in Alberobello, the famous city of trulli in the Puglia region. The festival was conceived by a group of young people connected to the town: those who chose to stay and those who left for study or work but return every summer. This tension between departure and return shapes the soul of the festival, which makes the «poetry of returning home» its guiding theme.

The meaning of the name

The name «Sciamn» comes from a typical expression in the local dialect, common to both Bari and Salento, which means «let's go!». It is both an invitation and a collective impulse: a way to gather friends, fellow citizens, and visitors around music and sharing. The festival thus becomes a summer ritual that repeats year after year, like a shared homecoming that unites those who live in Alberobello and those who are far away.

The setting: Villa Donnaloja and Rione Monti

The evenings take place at Villa Donnaloja, a green space overlooking Rione Monti, the district of trulli included in the UNESCO World Heritage list. The natural backdrop of conical dry-stone roofs makes every concert a unique experience, where live music dialogues with one of Italy's most recognizable landscapes.

The program

The lineup focuses on the new Italian indie and singer-songwriter scene, alternating established names with emerging talents, DJ sets, and local projects. Past editions have featured artists such as Elasi, Tredici Pietro, and Agenda dei buoni propositi, demonstrating an artistic vision attentive to the freshest voices in Italian music.
