The ultimate shopping and entertainment white night in the heart of Cassino
The Sbaracco and the White Night of Commerce are the must-attend events that ignite the center of Cassino, in the province of Frosinone, with an action-packed day of shopping, music, and fun. From morning until 3 AM, the city's streets and squares turn into an open-air stage: shops remain open for this special occasion, windows are illuminated, and live concerts, shows, and entertainment cater to audiences of all ages.
This initiative is part of the Cassino in Vetrina project, promoted by the Municipal Department of Commerce of Cassino in collaboration with local merchant associations. The goal is to make the city more attractive and support local businesses, offering residents and visitors moments of social interaction and leisure, while providing an opportunity for savings through extraordinary end-of-sale promotions.
The heart of the festival is the program spread across the city center. Live music, DJ sets, dance performances, street artists, and roving shows take place in Piazza San Giovanni, along Corso della Repubblica, Viale Dante, Via Marconi, Via Falese, Via degli Eroi, Piazza Diamare, and Via De Nicola. Between tribute band concerts, roaming saxophonists, and live jazz, the White Night offers a festive atmosphere that envelops the entire historic center.
The term Sbaracco refers to the extraordinary end-of-sale clearance: for one day only, participating merchants offer selected items at highly competitive prices, both inside and outside their shops. It is the perfect opportunity to snag the season's final deals while strolling past the stalls and displays set up in front of the stores.
Alongside shopping, the day features workshops and games for children, a food area with local cuisine and regional products, markets, exhibitions, and handicrafts. The format devised by the Municipality combines commerce, gastronomy, and entertainment, engaging families, young people, and curious visitors in one large, widespread event.
Nestled at the foot of the historic Abbey of Montecassino, Cassino is one of the most important cities in the lower Lazio region. Rebuilt after the destruction of World War II, it is now a lively university and commercial hub in the province of Frosinone. Events like the Sbaracco and the White Night of Commerce strengthen the city's identity and enhance the fabric of local activities, offering residents and visitors one more reason to enjoy the city center.
