About Sapori d'Autunno
An autumn celebration in the heart of the Madonie
The Sapori d'Autunno Festival is a food and cultural event that brings Isnello to life every November. This charming little village is nestled in the Madonie Park in the province of Palermo (Metropolitan City of Palermo, Sicily). Organized by the Isnello Youth Council with the support of the Municipality, the festival transforms the historic streets into a journey of taste and tradition, attracting visitors from all over Sicily.
Flavors and local products
The heart of the festival lies in the food and wine stalls set up in Piazza Mazzini and along the village streets. Here, you can sample the specialties of Madonie cuisine: grilled meats, roasted chestnuts, honey, cheeses, cured meats, new wine, and traditional Isnello sweets. Alongside the tastings, local craft stalls offer unique handmade goods and regional products.
Entertainment and shows
The program weaves together gastronomy and entertainment: folk music, traveling groups, stilt walkers, street bands, cabaret shows, evening concerts, and DJ sets. There is plenty of space dedicated to the little ones with games, entertainment, and activities, while conferences and cultural moments highlight the identity of the village and the surrounding Madonie area.
Discovering the village
The festival is also the perfect opportunity to explore Isnello: take a stroll through the narrow alleys, visit the Church of Santa Maria Maggiore and the Church of the Annunziata, or walk along the Urban Geological Trail, which showcases the unique geology of the Madonie. Nearby, you will find the GAL Hassin astronomical park and the stunning Gola di Isnello, ideal destinations for those looking to combine gastronomy, nature, and culture into a single weekend.
Sapori d'Autunno — edition 2026
The official dates and program for the 2026 edition of the Sapori d'Autunno Festival in Isnello have not yet been published. The event, organized by the Youth Council, is usually held in November and is expected to return in 2026 with its customary program of Madonie product tastings, shows, music, and guided tours of the village. How to get there
Isnello can be reached by car from the A19/A20 motorway, taking the exit toward Cefalù and following the signs for the Madonie; the nearest airport is Palermo-Punta Raisi.
When
The festival traditionally takes place over a weekend in November. Stalls open in the morning and entertainment continues until late in the evening.
Admission
Access to the event and performances is free; tastings are paid for directly at the stalls.
