Sanremo's Symphonic Summer
The Sanremo Summer Symphony is the summer concert series organized by the Sanremo Symphony Orchestra together with the Sanremo Città della Musica Foundation. It takes place at the Franco Alfano Auditorium, nestled in the greenery of Corso degli Inglesi, in the province of Imperia, and offers a program that ranges from symphonic music to jazz, from author pop to international collaborations.
A Program of Big Names
The series combines concerts by the Symphony Orchestra with evenings featuring Italian and foreign artists, in a crossover program that blends genres and styles. Symphonic tributes to music legends and world premieres complete an offering designed for a broad and discerning audience.

With the Summer Symphony, Sanremo reaffirms its musical vocation far beyond the week of the Festival: a city that lives and breathes music all year round, valuing its orchestra and attracting enthusiasts from all over Italy and abroad during the summer months.
Sanremo Summer Symphony — edition 2026
The fifth edition of the series takes place from July 5 to August 21, 2026, at the Franco Alfano Auditorium, with concerts starting at 9:30 PM. The program, consisting of 10 concerts, blends symphonic music, jazz, pop, and international collaborations.
Among the performers are Goran Bregović, who opens the series on July 5 (with the Sanremo Symphony Orchestra), followed by artists such as Kurt Elling, Ana Carla Maza, Filippo Graziani, Ron, and Belinda Davids with a tribute to Whitney Houston. The program is completed by a symphonic tribute to Queen and the world premiere 'Tra il mare e le stelle', dedicated to Lucio Dalla.

How to get there
The Franco Alfano Auditorium is located on Corso degli Inglesi, in the hills above Sanremo. The city is served by a train station on the Genoa-Ventimiglia line; by car, take the Sanremo exit on the A10 motorway.
