The Patron Saint's Fair
In Città di Castello, a city of art in the Province of Perugia in the Upper Tiber Valley, the Fiera di San Florido is the major traditional fair dedicated to the city's patron saint. The feast of San Florido is on November 13th, and the following weekend the city transforms into a vast open-air market that winds through the streets and squares of the historic center.
Hundreds of Exhibitors
The fair attracts hundreds of exhibitors—over four hundred in recent editions—spread along the main arteries of the center: Via XI Settembre, Corso Vittorio Emanuele, Piazza Sanzio, Largo Gildoni, Viale Europa, and the area around the Bernicchi stadium. The stalls offer local crafts, typical regional food products, and, in line with rural tradition, agricultural machinery.
Fair and Retrò Market
On the final Sunday, the Fiera di San Florido combines with the Retrò market, dedicated to antiques and vintage items, doubling the day's charm. Amidst the streets of the historic center of Città di Castello, between Renaissance palaces and atmospheres of yesteryear, the fair remains one of the most beloved autumn events in Città di Castello and the entire Upper Tiber Valley of Umbria.

From November 13th to 15th, 2026, the Fiera di San Florido returns to Città di Castello, the major fair dedicated to the city's patron saint, whose feast day is November 13th. For three days, the historic center transforms into a vast open-air market, with exhibitors spread along Via XI Settembre, Corso Vittorio Emanuele, Piazza Sanzio, Largo Gildoni, Viale Europa, and the area around the Bernicchi stadium.
The stalls offer crafts, typical local gastronomy, and agricultural machinery. On Sunday, November 15th, the fair combines with the Retrò market, dedicated to antiques and vintage items.

To participate as an exhibitor, applications must be submitted to the Municipality of Città di Castello by the deadline of the announcement (closing September 14, 2026).

Getting Here
Città di Castello is reachable by car from the E45 (Cesena-Orte connection), exit Città di Castello, and by train via the Ferrovia Centrale Umbra. During the fair, traffic modifications are planned in the historic center.
Admission
Free admission. To participate as an exhibitor, you must submit an application to the Municipality of Città di Castello within the deadlines indicated in the announcement.
