A neighborhood festival in the heart of Verolengo

The Saints Peter and Paul Festival is one of the most cherished traditions of Borgo Giolito-Verne, a historic district in Verolengo, a town in the Metropolitan City of Turin, Piedmont. Promoted by the Borgo Giolito-Verne Association, the event follows the traditional Italian calendar, which celebrates Saints Peter and Paul on June 29th, interpreted here as a popular, convivial neighborhood party open to everyone.

Two evenings on Via Aldo Moro

The heart of the festival is Via Aldo Moro, which transforms into a large social space for two nights. The event takes place on Friday and Saturday, with activities starting at 7:30 PM. Long tables, the aroma of the grill, and music entertain guests until late in the evening, in the informal atmosphere typical of Piedmontese local fairs and neighborhood festivals.

What to eat

The culinary offerings are simple and delicious, perfect for summer evenings:

• Pizza party with pizza prepared on-site;
• Grilled meat, the true star of neighborhood dinners;
• Drinks and sides served at the association's stand.
