The Saint Sebastian Patronal Feast is the most anticipated event of the year for Lama dei Peligni, a village of just over a thousand residents in the province of Chieti, Abruzzo. The town sits at an altitude of approximately 670 meters, between the Aventino River and the eastern slopes of the Majella massif, within the territory of the Majella National Park. Every January 20th, the community gathers around its patron saint with a celebration that blends religious observance with local tradition.
