Saint Joseph Festival of Campeis

A village festival that smells of spring

In Campeis (Cjampees in Friulian), a small hamlet of Pinzano al Tagliamento, the Saint Joseph Festival is one of those events that tell the most genuine soul of Friuli. Organized by the Amîs di Cjampees association, it takes place around March 19th, the feast day of the patron saint, Saint Joseph, and for four days it animates the village with the warmth of a festival made by the community for the community.

Each evening has its specialty

The common thread is gastronomy, with each evening dedicated to a different dish: snails, grilled asado, and wild boar, in a sequence that attracts enthusiasts and the curious from all over the area. A local, simple, and flavorful cuisine, served in a convivial atmosphere that is the true hallmark of this festival.

Between faith, music, and nature

The program combines the religious moment — with the solemn Mass in honor of Saint Joseph — with entertainment evenings, including karaoke, DJ sets, and live folk music. The grand finale on Sunday is the Treasure Hunt of Campeis, a nature excursion that leads to the discovery of the most picturesque corners of the Pinzano al Tagliamento area.
