The Sagra di Santa Rosa e della Trippa is the most cherished event of the summer in Portobuffolè, a municipality in the province of Treviso and one of the Most Beautiful Villages in Italy. A long-standing event, it takes place at the end of August and lasts for ten days, organized by the Pro Loco Portobuffolè with the patronage of the Municipality.
Trippa di Santa Rosa, the village's heritage
The main dish is Trippa di Santa Rosa, the authentic gastronomic flag of Portobuffolè, served with local Piave wines. The food stand offers, alongside tripe, succulent dishes of Venetian tradition, in a festival that has been celebrating the village's culinary identity for decades.
Ballroom dancing, competitions, and socialising
The evenings are dedicated to music and ballroom dancing in the pavilion, with traditional Venetian orchestras. There is also a cooking competition and evenings of games with card tournaments, from scopone to tresette, moments that recall the convivial spirit of village festivals. All with free admission, within the walls of a medieval village that was once a possession of the Serenissima and which, during the festival, renews its role as the heart of the community.

The Sagra di Santa Rosa e della Trippa 2026 takes place in Portobuffolè from August 21 to 30. Organized by the Pro Loco with the patronage of the Municipality, it offers ten days of celebration featuring the renowned Trippa di Santa Rosa and Piave wines, musical evenings with Venetian orchestras, ballroom dancing in the pavilion, a cooking competition, and evenings of games with card tournaments.

The 2026 edition runs from August 21 to 30 in Portobuffolè. The festival structure includes:
- Food stand open every evening from 7 PM, featuring Trippa di Santa Rosa and traditional Venetian dishes, accompanied by local Piave wines
- Musical evenings with orchestras and ballroom dancing in the pavilion
- Cooking competition
- Game nights — card tournaments (scopone, tresette)
Free admission. The detailed evening schedule will be published by the Pro Loco Portobuffolè and the Municipality in the weeks preceding the event.

How to get there
Portobuffolè is located in the province of Treviso, on the border with Friuli. By car from Treviso along the SS13 Pontebbana towards Oderzo and then a detour to Portobuffolè. Nearest motorway exit: Cessalto (A4).

At the end of August, for ten days. Food stand open in the evening from 7 PM, free admission. Lunch available on the last Sunday.
