A historic wine exhibition in the Marca
The Mostra del Vino Superiori Piave-Livenza in Vallonto, a hamlet of the Municipality of Fontanelle in the province of Treviso, is one of the most important wine events in the Marca Trevigiana. Born in the late sixties to give visibility to the wines of local farmers and producers, it has become over the years an interprovincial reference point for the promotion of wines from the Piave-Livenza area.
Sixty wineries and over 200 labels
The heart of the event is the extensive wine exhibition: about sixty wineries and over 200 quality labels for tasting, from the region's DOC and DOCG wines to the productions of small winemakers. Alongside the wine, the food stands offer barbecues, ribs, and typical specialties, while the evenings are enlivened by live music, folk events, and sports events.
In the Malanotte d'Estate circuit
The exhibition is part of the "Malanotte d'Estate" circuit, which brings together the main summer festivals in the area around Rabopieve wine and Malanotte del Piave DOCG. Organized by the Pro Loco Vallonto, in 2026 it received the recognition of "Sagra di Qualità" from the Veneto Region, confirming the event's value in promoting the traditions and products of Veneto.
Mostra del Vino di Vallonto — edition 2026
The 56th edition of the Mostra del Vino di Vallonto is held from July 16 to August 3, 2026, in the Pro Loco area of the hamlet of Vallonto, in Fontanelle (Treviso). Confirmed by the official website of the Malanotte d'Estate circuit, the exhibition maintains its established format: an extensive wine exhibition with about sixty wineries and over 200 labels of Superior wines from the Piave-Livenza area.
In 2026, the event was awarded "Sagra di Qualità" by the Veneto Region, a recognition given to Veneto Pro Loco associations for their care in promoting local products and traditions.
Programme Mostra del Vino di Vallonto 2026
The exhibition spans three weeks, mainly in the evening. The usual format, documented in recent editions, includes:
- Opening evening with ribbon cutting, award ceremony for exhibited wines, and a buffet of typical products
- Tastings of Piave-Livenza Superior wines (approx. 60 wineries, over 200 DOC and DOCG labels)
- Food stands with barbecues, ribs, and typical specialties
- Musical evenings on weekends, with orchestras and tribute bands (in past editions, tributes to Nomadi and Ligabue, among others)
- Folkloric moments and sports events
