The Sagra della Beata Vergine della Salute takes place in the hamlet of Capitello, in Fiesso Umbertiano, a municipality in the province of Rovigo in the Polesine region. It is one of the most heartfelt community festivals in the area, dedicated to the Madonna della Salute and celebrated at the end of November, organised by the Capitello Festival Committee with the patronage of the Municipality and the Parish of Fiesso.

The festival is famous for its genuine cuisine: tortellini, polenta with mushrooms, bondola and cotechino, mashed potatoes, stewed beans and the unmissable zuppa inglese. The event traditionally opens with the Festa della bondola, a convivial dinner at the former schools, which kicks off days of celebration for the community.
Devotion and conviviality
The religious highlight is the Holy Mass in the church of the Madonna della Salute, followed by a procession with the statue of the Madonna accompanied by the town band. There are also moments of celebration for adults and children, such as the cuccagna (greased pole climbing) and the final chestnut roast with mulled wine and sweets offered to all. A festival that closes the autumn in Polesine in the name of faith and tradition.

Organised by the Capitello Festival Committee, it offers the genuine cuisine of the Polesine region — tortellini, polenta with mushrooms, bondola and cotechino, mashed potatoes, stewed beans, zuppa inglese — with the Festa della bondola kicking things off, followed by the mass and procession with the statue of the Madonna, the cuccagna, and the final chestnut roast with mulled wine.
