Rosadira Bike Days is the mountain bike festival that transforms Val d'Ega (Eggental) into a biker's paradise every June. Based in the villages of Nova Levante (Welschnofen), Nova Ponente, and Obereggen in the province of Bolzano, the event unfolds in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites, beneath the towering peaks of the Catinaccio (Rosengarten) and Latemar groups. The name itself pays homage to the "enrosadira," the phenomenon where the Dolomites glow pink at sunset—the inspiration behind the event's signature red jersey.

An all-inclusive package for every skill level

The Rosadira Bike Days follow an "all-inclusive" format: book through local partner accommodations to gain access to a rich, diverse program designed for everyone from beginners to seasoned riders. Each day features guided mountain bike and e-MTB tours tailored to various difficulty levels, led by local guides who share technical tips and local insights across forest paths, scenic single-trails, and nature-immersed tracks.

Beyond the rides, the program includes riding technique clinics to help you navigate trails with more confidence and fluidity, mechanical workshops to learn how to maintain your bike, and a large expo area with test-bikes, where you can try out the latest models and get advice from industry experts.

More than just bikes: gastronomy, relaxation, and family

Rosadira Bike Days is about more than just sport. The schedule balances cycling with social moments: welcome aperitifs, daily chill-out sessions with drinks included, evenings featuring traditional South Tyrolean specialties, and live music. The package also includes access to the Carezza and Latemar Ronda ski lifts and discounts on bike rentals.

Families are well-catered for with the "Rosadira for Kids" initiative: fun activities, races, games, courses, and treasure hunts designed for the little ones, with skill-building sessions led by qualified instructors while parents are out on the trails. The children's program is open to kids up to 14 years old.

Organized by Eggental Tourismus, based in Nova Levante/Welschnofen, the event is a cornerstone of active tourism in South Tyrol, perfectly blending outdoor sports, the exploration of one of the most spectacular landscapes in the Trentino-Alto Adige region, and authentic South Tyrolean culinary culture.
