The Ronk'n'Roll Festival in Canal San Bovo

The Ronk'n'Roll Festival is one of the most anticipated summer evenings in the Valle del Vanoi, located in the municipality of Canal San Bovo, in the province of Trento (Trentino-Alto Adige). Every year, on the eve of Ferragosto, the Ronco Chiesa festival grounds transform into a large open-air stage dedicated to Rock'n'Roll, live music, and mountain conviviality.

Music and American-style cuisine

The festival's formula blends two key ingredients: music and food. The evening kicks off with an aperitif and a DJ set in the late afternoon, continues with a dinner featuring authentic Yankee-style barbecue, and culminates with live concerts late into the night. The menu is designed for lovers of American cuisine:

• Texas-style ribs and beef ribs;
• pulled pork, burgers, and hot dogs;
• snacks, cocktails, and a fully stocked bar open until late.

A community-organized event

The festival is organized by Pro Loco Ronco, involving volunteers from the hamlet and the entire Canal San Bovo community. The event, which reached its twenty-fifth edition in 2025, has become a landmark in the valley's summer calendar, attracting visitors from all over the Primiero area.

Ronco Chiesa is a hamlet of Canal San Bovo, nestled in the greenery of the Valle del Vanoi at the foot of the eastern Trentino Dolomites.
