The Tesino Oktoberfest

The Oktoberfest Cinte Tesino is the beer festival that brings the small village of Cinte Tesino to life every autumn. Located on the Tesino plateau in Valsugana, in the province of Trento (Trentino-Alto Adige), the event was born as an initiative of the Comitato Oktoberfest Cinte Tesino. It recreates the spirit of the famous Munich festival in a cozy, local setting under the large Teatro Tenda marquee set up in the heart of the village.

The ritual of the first keg

The highlight of the evening is the official tapping of the first beer keg: just like in Munich, the crowd awaits the traditional cry of "O'Zapft Is!" ("It is tapped!") to kick off the celebrations. From that moment on, world-class Bavarian beers flow from the taps, featuring historic brands such as Spaten, Löwenbräu, Paulaner, and Hacker-Pschorr, served in traditional steins.

Bavarian cuisine and atmosphere

Alongside the beer, the festival offers typical Bavarian and South Tyrolean dishes: bratwurst, pork knuckle, sauerkraut, pretzels, and other specialties served at long communal tables under the tent. The convivial setting, with its shared seating, recreates the cheerful and inclusive atmosphere of the great beer festivals, perfect for groups of friends and families alike.

Live music and dancing

The soundtrack of the evening is provided by live music, with bands alternating between dance hits, covers, and folk music, followed by a DJ set that keeps the dance floor packed until late. Recent editions have featured groups like the Alpen Gnuco Sgnapa Band and local entertainment acts, known for getting the entire tent singing and dancing.

The Oktoberfest in Cinte Tesino has become a highly anticipated date on the autumn calendar for the Tesino and Valsugana regions. It is a festive occasion that unites the village and attracts visitors from neighboring towns.
