A journey into ancient Rome in the heart of the Tenuta della Mistica

Roma Victrix 753 BC is a historical re-enactment that brings the ancient Roman Empire to life at the Parco Tutti Insieme (Parco della Mistica), in Rome's Municipio V, Lazio. For an entire weekend, the vast park of the Tenuta della Mistica transforms into a Roman camp where legionaries, praetorians, and historical re-enactors recreate the daily life, training, and military maneuvers of the Eternal City, spanning the centuries from Augustus to Septimius Severus.

A living camp between education and spectacle

The public is welcomed among the camp tents, educational tables, and demonstrations of ancient weapons and crafts. Both adults and children can follow legionary training sessions, learn Roman writing, and watch parades featuring the soldiers' maneuvers. It is a day designed for families and curious minds, where history becomes tangible and children take center stage in the workshops.

Archeo-aperitivo and archeo-dinner: the taste of ancient Rome

The most evocative highlight is the culinary experience. The archeo-aperitivo and archeo-dinner, prepared exclusively by the archaeological chef IVCVNDA, feature dishes inspired by ancient Roman culinary traditions: from Cato's Libum to Patina Apiciana, from cereal bread with olive tapenade to Horace's Laganae, and finally, Mulsum. Gastronomy and historical research meet solidarity, as all proceeds are donated to the La Stella di Lorenzo association. Reservations for the archeo-dinner are mandatory.

The event is organized by the Roma Victrix 753 association in collaboration with Coloriamo i Sogni and Parco Tutti Insieme, with the support of local sponsors. The spirit of solidarity is an integral part of the event: the bond with La Stella di Lorenzo, which is also active in the park providing free pediatric cardiac screenings, makes this re-enactment an event that combines culture, historical outreach, and social commitment in one of the most beloved green spaces in Rome's eastern suburbs.
