The village festival of Robella

Robella in Festa is the traditional summer festival of the Robella district, part of the municipality of Trino in the province of Vercelli, located in the heart of the Piedmont rice-growing plains. For three consecutive evenings, usually in mid-June, the small Piazza Montagnini transforms into the center of village life, featuring long tables, home-cooked food, and live music late into the night.

Organizers

The event is promoted by the Circolo Amici Robellesi in collaboration with the Municipality of Trino. This same association keeps the district's calendar active throughout the year, from the famous Carnival bean feast in February to these summer events: a group of volunteers dedicated to preserving the community's traditions and the identity of Robella.

What to expect

The heart of the festival is the dinner, served every evening starting at 7:30 PM and prepared entirely by the Amici Robellesi, featuring traditional dishes from Piedmont and the Vercelli area. After dinner, around 10:00 PM, the square makes room for music and dancing: ballroom orchestras, party bands, and entertainment that gets everyone, young and old, up from their tables.
