A summer of events in the heart of the Alto Sangro

Rivisondolevolmente is the summer festival promoted by the Municipality of Rivisondoli, a mountain village at approximately 1,320 meters above sea level in the Alto Sangro, in the province of L'Aquila, Abruzzo. Every year, between July and August, the program features dozens of free events that transform Piazza Garibaldi, the historic center, and the village squares into an open-air stage.

Music, performances, and culture

The program alternates between evening concerts, cabaret shows, musical evenings, and activities for all ages. Recent editions have seen Piazza Garibaldi host well-known names in Italian music, evenings dedicated to the 80s and 90s repertoire, fashion shows, DJ sets, and events for children. The cultural section includes painting and sculpture exhibitions at the Civic Museum and the Cultural Center, book presentations, and traditional antique markets in the village squares.

Calici in Jazz & Arts and the food and wine vocation

Among the most characteristic events in the calendar is the Calici in Jazz & Arts Festival, which combines jazz music, art, and wine tastings between Piazza Garibaldi and the historic center, with tasting points distributed throughout the village streets. It is one of the initiatives that best captures the identity of Rivisondoli, blending musical quality, local products, and the historic setting of the village.

Sport as a driving force for the region

Rivisondoli has long been a destination for summer sports training camps thanks to its cool climate and high-altitude facilities. The calendar hosts pre-season training for professional football teams and athletics camps, which complement the cultural and musical events, bringing athletes, staff, and fans from all over Italy to the village.

Located a stone's throw from Roccaraso, Pescocostanzo, and Castel di Sangro, Rivisondoli is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Abruzzo mountains, also famous for its Christmas living nativity scene. During the summer, Rivisondolevolmente accompanies the tourist season with an offering designed for families, hikers, and vacationers, enhancing the heritage and popular traditions of the Municipality and the entire Alto Sangro territory.
