Over sixty days of entertainment on the Ardea coast
Rio Dreams - The Summer Carnival at Ai Tucul reaches its fourth edition in 2026, confirming its status as one of the longest-running summer festivals on the coast south of Rome. The event takes place at the Villaggio Ai Tucul, located at Via Romagna 4, in the seaside area of Tor San Lorenzo, part of the municipality of Ardea, in the Metropolitan City of Rome Capital, Lazio. From June 27 to August 30, over sixty days of programming transform the village into a large open-air stage.
Conceived by artistic director Daniele Micelli, Rio Dreams combines different genres and languages: music, theater, comedy, illusionism, cinema, and pop culture coexist in a program designed to engage families, children, young people, and adults. The project focuses on the values of inclusion, accessibility, and sharing, with daytime and evening events throughout the summer.
The 2026 program alternates between concerts and comedy nights of national appeal. Announced guests include the Renato Zero tribute act Icaro, the magic of Davide Spada, the cabaret of Pippo Franco, the show Da Carosone a Califano with Maurizio Mattioli and Alberto Laurenti, the comedy of Enzo Salvi with Valentina Paoletti and Antonello Costa, the Grand Magic Gala, the comedy play Vacanze Rumene, and the Ferragosto concert featuring Michele Zarrillo.
The signature event of the festival is the parade of allegorical floats in the style of the Rio de Janeiro Carnival, featuring dancers from the Tierra Brasil's group and fireworks displays by Pirotecnica Agretto: an evening of colors, music, and Brazilian dances that gives the entire event its name.
Alongside the major evening shows, the village offers a rich daytime program dedicated to children and families:
With its formula that blends popular entertainment with care for audiences of all ages, Rio Dreams has become a landmark of the summer in Ardea and along the entire southern Roman coast.
The fourth edition of the festival brings the Villaggio Ai Tucul in Ardea to life for over two months, from June 27 to August 30, 2026, with a program that combines big names in entertainment, comedy, magic, and family entertainment.
The program is complemented by daytime activities for children and families: baby shows, foam parties, magic workshops, open-air cinema, treasure hunts, and experiences with animatronic dinosaurs.
The Villaggio Ai Tucul is located at Via Romagna 4, in Tor San Lorenzo (Ardea, RM). By car, it can be reached via the Via Pontina (SS148) by taking the exit towards Ardea and continuing along the coast; the reference railway station is Marechiaro-Lido di Lavinio on the Rome-Nettuno line.
