A night of music, performances, and culture in the heart of the city
Every year, at the start of autumn, Ciampino lights up for its White Night, a grand city festival that turns the center into an open-air stage. For one whole evening, the squares, streets, and public spaces of this city in the Metropolitan City of Rome Capital, in the heart of the Lazio region, come alive with live music, shows, entertainment, art, culture, and sports, with a program designed to engage all ages.
The White Night is more than just an entertainment event: it is an opportunity to experience the city in a new light, rediscovering its spaces and identity. The program is born from the participation of local associations, businesses, artists, and cultural and sports groups who, together, create a rich and engaging evening. It is a portrait of a community coming together to showcase its talents, as frequently highlighted by the municipal administration.
Located at the gates of Rome and famous for its international airport, Ciampino is one of the most vibrant cities in the Castelli Romani area. The White Night has become one of the most anticipated events on the city calendar: an evening that unites residents and visitors alike, showcasing the dynamic and welcoming face of the municipality. Admission is free, and events are spread across multiple points in the center, allowing you to stroll from one square to another and discover something new at every turn.
True to the spirit of the "White Nights," the festival continues until late, with the city remaining illuminated and buzzing with activity. It is the ideal occasion to spend an evening with family or friends, enjoying a concert, a show, or a simple walk through the center of Ciampino.
The 2026 Ciampino White Night is scheduled for Saturday, September 26. The city center will once again transform into an open-air stage, with events spread across the squares and streets of the city. The municipal administration has presented the event as an important occasion for meeting and sharing, celebrating the energy of the community and the work of local associations, economic operators, and cultural and sports groups.
By train: The Ciampino station is on the Rome-Cassino line and is also served by regional connections; it is just a few minutes' walk from the center. By car: Ciampino can be reached from the Grande Raccordo Anulare (GRA) and the Via Appia; during the evening, it is recommended to use parking areas near the center, as several streets may be closed to traffic. By plane: The Rome-Ciampino "G. B. Pastine" Airport is located nearby.
Access to the event is free. Events take place in various locations throughout the city center.
As this is an outdoor evening that continues until late, we recommend wearing comfortable clothing and checking the updated program on the official Ciampino municipal channels in the days leading up to the event.
