From the city center to the summit of the Resegone

Resegup is the symbolic skyrace of Lecco, a unique mountain race: it starts from the heart of the city, in Piazza Garibaldi, and climbs to the summit of the Resegone, the famous mountain with a jagged profile that dominates the Lecco landscape and which Manzoni described in "The Betrothed". It is one of the classics of Italian skyrunning, capable of uniting the urban and alpine dimensions.

24 kilometers of pure challenge

The course measures 24 kilometers with over 1,800 meters of positive elevation gain: from the start in the city center, you climb to the summit of the Resegone and then descend back down, with the finish line again in Piazza Garibaldi. A technical and demanding test that challenges the endurance and skill of the best skyrunners.

A sold-out event

Resegup is much loved: the 1,200 bibs available for the 2026 edition sold out in just a few days, confirming the event's great following. The start and finish remain in the heart of the city, with the athletes' village, bag drop, refreshment area, and all services concentrated in Piazza Garibaldi.
