The Remake Festival&Food was born in 2026 as an anniversary celebration: Mad Max, a commercial landmark in Rutigliano (Metropolitan City of Bari, Puglia) for nearly thirty years, chose to mark the milestone not with a simple in-store event, but with a day open to the entire community. The event takes place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, starting at 10:00 AM, offering a simple yet successful format that weaves together music, the outdoors, and good food.

The Venue: Parco Donna Antonietta Localzo

The setting is one of the most evocative in the region: Parco Donna Antonietta Localzo, in Contrada Caggiano, just outside Rutigliano. This ancient farmhouse, rescued from abandonment and brought back to life, is now managed as an event space immersed in the greenery of the Bari countryside. The park has hosted concerts, shows, and outdoor parties for years, and for one day, it becomes the headquarters of the Remake Festival&Food.

Music, nature, and flavors

The heart of the day is the concert by the band Game Boy, bringing 80s new wave and synth-pop to the stage—the perfect soundtrack for a festival that plays with memory and the joy of "remaking," from which it takes its name. Alongside the music, there are two falconry shows, featuring owls, eagles, hawks, and other birds of prey, with the opportunity for the public to take photos up close with the animals.

The culinary side is well-covered, with a spacious food & drink area curated by the organizers, designed for enjoying dishes and drinks directly in the rural atmosphere of the farmhouse. The vibe is that of an open-air picnic: guests are simply encouraged to bring a blanket to lounge on.

An event designed for families too

The Remake Festival&Food pays special attention to the little ones: there is an inflatable area dedicated to children (recommended for ages 12 months and up), and for the older ones, there is a beach volleyball court. The result is a day suitable for all ages, where music, sports, bird-of-prey shows, and street food coexist in the same countryside setting.

As this is a private event with limited capacity, participation is by reservation only: a detail that makes the gathering more intimate and carefully curated, in line with the spirit of a party born to say thank you to those who have animated the life of Rutigliano alongside Mad Max for thirty years.
