Queen Arco Games (QARCO Games)

A rapidly growing track and field meeting

The Queen Arco Games, also known as the QARCO Games, are an international track and field meeting held at the Via Pomerio Sports Center in the town of Arco, in the province of Trento, in the heart of Garda Trentino. Established just a few years ago, the event has quickly cemented its reputation as one of the most prestigious athletic gatherings in Trentino-Alto Adige, ranking third in regional importance behind the Palio della Quercia in Rovereto and the Pergine International Meeting.

International-level competition

The event is part of the World Athletics Global Calendar: results achieved in Arco are valid for international rankings, a recognition that attracts top-tier athletes from across Italy and abroad. The program alternates between sprint and jump events, with a special focus on the high jump, the meeting's signature event dubbed Eagle King and Eagle Queen.

Technical program

The races take place in the late afternoon and evening, when the summer heat of Lake Garda subsides and athletes can perform at their best. The scheduled events include:

• High jump (men's and women's, Eagle King and Eagle Queen), the event's flagship competition;
• 100-meter and 200-meter sprints;
• 400-meter and 800-meter runs;
• Pole vault;
• Events reserved for youth categories (Ragazzi and Cadetti) and open to Masters of all ages.

One of the distinctive features of the Queen Arco Games is the prize pool, which rewards not only the winners but also those who achieve notable times, measurements, or set new meeting records.
