Italy's largest event dedicated to dogs, cats, and our four-legged friends
Quattrozampeinfiera is Italy's largest pet-focused event and the only exhibition where you can bring your dog or cat along. Every year, the Rome edition transforms the Fiera di Roma pavilions, located in the city's Portuense district, into a true kingdom for domestic animals: two days of fun, discovery, and educational experiences created to celebrate the deep bond between people and their four-legged friends.
The event is divided into numerous themed areas, each with its own schedule of events, games, and activities:
The heart of the event is the Dog & Cat Activities section, a rich program of free sports that visitors can book and participate in directly with their own dogs. Disciplines include Obedience, Acqua Dog, and leash-handling exercises, alongside demonstrations and trials designed to test the physical and intellectual abilities of pets. Sustainability is also a key focus, with the #USATOPET project dedicated to recycling and environmental respect.
Open to everyone, Quattrozampeinfiera is much more than a trade fair: it is a place for meeting, learning, and raising awareness about animal welfare, with dedicated spaces for adoptions, grooming, and pet care. The Rome edition, hosted in the municipality of Rome in the heart of the Lazio Region, attracts thousands of enthusiasts from across Central Italy every year, confirming its status as one of the most anticipated pet-friendly events on the capital's calendar.
On March 14-15, 2026, pavilions 7 and 9 of the Fiera di Roma hosted a new edition of Quattrozampeinfiera, Italy's largest pet-focused event. Open from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, the event brought together thousands of visitors and their pets, offering exhibitions, shows, dog sports, and numerous free activities designed to strengthen the bond between people and their four-legged companions.
